Lots of fun with children at Fairwater Library, Cardiff yesterday, singing with my ukulele, tapping rhythms, chanting rhymes and acting them out, and jumping waves in an imaginary sea!
🌊Seaside was our theme, as you can see, and although we didn’t really take our shoes off, we pretended to, and trod on the warm, golden, imaginary sand! Imaginary seagulls swooped for our picnic food, and imaginary fish darted past us in the shallows, but we avoided the (cardboard) seamonster as best we could, although he did splash us a bit!
The children did some beautiful colouring too, on my black-and-white beach picture, and were awarded shiny stars to celebrate
