Autumn Leaf

I love doing Autumn Leaf poetry with children – there’s SO much to think, say, enact, sing, write, draw, colour!

What can a child find in a leaf?

Colour and pattern, movement and stillness, crunch and mulch, bright and dark, life and death, frailty and serenity, humour – when it lands on your nose!

Surprising perhaps, but the children absolutely love our Autumn Leaves poetry adventures.

And the poetry they produce? Wow! is all I can say.
