I’ve been rehearsing some firework actions to do with children in some upcoming poetry sessions, and thought I’d share them here for any teachers, parents or child carers who may find them handy.

I also include – not shown here – Catherine wheels (curly whirlies), starting slowly, then building up speed until fast as a washing machine on spin, letting all the (imagined) lights fly off into the dark sky.
