When a school books a FREE assembly, I email them this 2-page flyer – gaps filled in appropriately – to pass on to parents. It tells them about my upcoming visit and also my after-school book sale, with my new book SQUEAK! SQUAWK! ROAR!
That is ALL the school has to do, except gather the children for my assembly and provide me with a little table and chair for the sale.
HOW SIMPLE IS THAT??? No fee to pay. No paperwork. No all-day hosting!
I received the most rewarding feedback from teachers and children last term, and am now preparing for more! A win-win arrangement – and a thumbs-up from my publisher too! 😁
