Just complete the landmark names on this map of Santa’s fantasy homeland, with any word you like, with ONE rule – it has to start with the same sound as the first word starts with, e.g. Mountain of Mischief. Yes – an alliteration game!
Here’s the writing sheet + notes for helping adults. You’re welcome to take screenshots for home/school use (though not for commercial use). You’ll enjoy this hilarious, crazy, exciting game too!

PS – My animal poetry book (pictured abov) comes out on 9th January with Otter-Barry Books. It contains fun, humour, food for thought, atmosphere, drama, beauty, rich language and all sorts of poetic styles that can be used as models or spurs for children’s writing. With its huge variety of featured animals, the 54 poems also offer a great embellishment to any animal- or nature-focused class topic. The whirl of rhymes and toe-tappy punchy rhythms make this a fun collection for school or home, reading or listening! Lots to be got from this book!
Merry Christmas!
