Here’s my latest poetry snippet, this one from ‘Watching through the Window’:

Children may enjoy illustrating this image of a busy street, with people heading in criss-cross directions.

They could also add further details, such as ‘A mother pushing a pushchair along, a happy couple, chatting and laughing, a dog on a lead, pulling backwards…’

There are all sorts of ways to develop this snippet.
