Hello, thanks for visiting my poetry site!

I write for children, with all sorts of poems tucked away in different anthologies and lit. magazines for young readers, so I’m airing little snippets from some of them here at the moment – one a day.

This little couplet is taken from ‘Different but the Same’ – a poem about friendship: a child’s list of all the things she and her friend differ on, but ending with the fact that, despite all their differences, they just love each other’s company, actually having so much in common!
