NATIONAL POETRY DAY!

NATIONAL POETRY DAY (UK) lands on Thursday, 5th October this year, with the theme of REFUGE. Are you ready?

Here are some ‘refuge’ poems to inspire you – and your children if you’re a teacher, guardian or minder, at Poetry Roundabout:

Mine is up there – or down there! – a toad huddling under a bush, wrapped up in fallen leaves, as winter arrives – ‘As Gales Push’. Yes, ‘Refuge’ can be taken any way you like. Why not? It’s poetry!

But in my view, poetry is for EVERY DAY, and I’m offering exciting, colourful themes for my autumn/winter workshops:

AUTUMN LEAVES, WILD WOODS (and their creatures), FIREWORKS, and WINTER LIGHTS.

For prices and other details, and to book, please visit my agent, Authors Abroad:

Happy NPD celebrations!
